Rear speaker wiring on '95 240sx

I went ghetto and clipped the rear speaker wiring and didn't wire the speakers right. Which one of these is postive and negative? On the right side, the wiring colors is blue and pink/purple Red and green on the left side (driver side) colors I looked on installdr and it only noted the radio wiring colors.

theres 2 wires, try it one way, if it doesnt work, try it the other way. wont hurt anything.

I bought a cheap tester last week and it's not putting enough power though it to light the tester bulb. If it's wired wrong, the speaker(wired wrong) will be out of phaze with the others ( wired corectly) Yo dan.. you know a guy _black '98 s14 ? He left a note on my car last week

Sorry, for not chimming in earlier ...

If it's out of phase, it will ne noticable as you fade back and forth between the right and left side.

For '91-93 240's, it's:

Red is Rear Left +Green is Rear Left -Violet is Rear Right +Pink is Rear Right -

Even with yours being a '95, it might help?

The colors match up to my '95.. purple, green,red pinkish Where did you get those specs from?

Rex, I think you meant to say if the polarity is reversed .
