I did a bit of a search but it didnt uncover much

Pretty much the rear left stock speaker cover rattles when i have the sub cranking. I can live with it i guess but is there a way WTHOUT putting sound deadener in my boot?

it could also be the parcel shelf just shaking its pretty thin so maybe sound deadener on that? or would that ruin the bass in the cabin?

and its not a stock speaker in there its pioneer 6' 4 way

see my sig for sub + amp combo

Car is 92 maxima

any help or tips would be much apreciated! Thanks fellas

You can use some dynamat or similar. Also try some of the padding that they use under carpets, tends to work pretty good for this kind of thing.

its definately the speaker cover. I turned the volue right down while driving on the freeway and could hear it rattling. And its only the left one which makes this noise the right one doesnt.

perhaps i need to take it of and put it on again? how do you remove them? or you cant and thats the whole point?

You will probably need to remove the rear deck trim panel to remove the plastic grille. The grille covers are usually attached with screws from the bottom side of the deck cover. Each car will vary. Many times, the rear deck is rattling against the bottom of the window or against the metal at the bottom of the window.

Chewing gum or duct, tape. Seriously I am a Dynamat whore so I never have vibration issues. I say use some felt.
