crap, the shop owner told me the front was good. but rear brakes was gone lmao soo...im not sure how bad the rotors are, but I'll take pixs of it tomorrow.breadbox wrote:I'd park my car, take off the wheel that you think is the loudest and see if they put it back right.
Brakes aren't complicated, so it should be evident if something is really wrong.
You can visually inspect the rotor to see if it is still smooth on the front and back. If you put fresh pads on a crap rotor then you just probably ruined a pad or two. I did new front pads and rotors up front for like $100 and 2hours time to do it.
Haven't done the rears cuz they don't matter as much and look fine.

Sorry, Cryan my English isn't to well. I'll try my best to explain the problem next time. The brakes are new though, might have bring to a friend shop have him look at it.CRyan wrote:I don't know why, but your English upsets me.
Both rotors from the rear look like they need to be turned, and new pads. Duralast has a lifetime warranty with theres, so pay the extra 20 bucks and never have to pay for pads for forever on that car.
Oh, in that case forgive me. I did not know that! And if the rear pads are new and you haven't put too many miles on them, get the rotors turned ASAP. And if possible, take your finger and run it from the hub out and see if you feel any unusual waves. That would be the sign of a warped rotor, which will too need to be turned. No worries though, most auto parts stores have a lay to turn them on for relatively cheap, as long as they aren't too thin. That meaning that they are under the factory specification that they cannot be shaved down anymore.night240 wrote:Sorry, Cryan my English isn't to well.
