I need to replace one of the rear (red) side markers but can't figure out how to remove it. I've come in through the trunk, the wheel well and the bumper cover and can't get access to it. I've searched the archives but can't find any removal instructions. What are the correct disssembly steps to get to these? Thanks in advance.

1. Grab your BFSD

2. Jam it between the marker lens and body on the side towards the front of the car.

3. Pry carefully, listen for any cracking or any other unnatural sounds.

4. Marker lens assy. should come out in one piece. If it doesn't, contact Tyrone for a replacement.

Thanks for the tips. The FSM shows the lower bumper having to be removed and I was trying to avoid that. Looking at the replacement marker I got from Tyrone I see that your method will work and the lens cover will pop right out. The only thing I would add is to pad the BFSD before prying so it doesn't chip the paint. I think I will take a pic of the backside of this marker and post it for future reference.

Thanks again to both of you for your input.

Rear drivers side marker light is out and I can't seem to get it removed so I can replace.

I've tried prying with the BFSD till it was ready to crack and the FS won't do a F thing. I'm f'ing frustrated. From inside the trunk, there is no way to do it.

Looking at an uninstalled front marker light housing, it's held to the bumper panel by two nuts. Is that not the case with the rear? WTF???

The rear just clips in. I'm not sure why the front has the two nuts on the backside. This is one job that I need to do on my front markers.I did the rear markers last summer and they pried right out. Don't be rammy with it, but with a little persuasion it will come out. Use the force...
