I'm finding the rear shock bolt very difficult to remove. Any tips on removing it without power tools? It is making a really easy job very difficult.

I used half a can of Liquid Wrench on it and a breaker bar and it won't budge.

The breaker bar actually causes the entire shock to twist so it seems counter-productive. It seems a lot of the force is going to the shock itself instead of the bolt.

Maybe you could post up a pic? A lot of times an impact wrench will do a good job on bolts like that

Thanks for the reply. The problem is I don't have an impact wrench. I ended up paying a shop to do it.

In hindsight I probably should have disconnected the shock at the top of the wheel well, and then tried to take out the bottom bolt. That way the shock itself wouldn't twist.
