Hi Guys,

I have the DVD player inside the center console, but I do not have the monitor above the center console. I was thinking about going back to the Infiniti dealership and purchase the media center option which has the fold down monitor... But the cost for that is $2000 (Rediculous!)

I was doing some research and found that I could install two 7inch headrest monitors at such a cheaper cost.

$150 each monitor$60 each wireless headphones

If you were me, which direction would you go?

As someone who has the middle screen.....always always go with the headrest. I'd even advocate for separate screens with separate sources as well.

The location of the middle screen in these cars is too far back to clear the sunroof and too high. Creates too large of a viewing angle in my opinion.

I have dual screens in my QX. The kids beg to ride in it because of this.

Thanks for the info. I guess I am going with the headrest monitors then. Plus it's much cheaper!

Be careful with those 7" monitors if you have the stock headrests. They won't fit properly and you'll have to mod them so they don't stick out on the sides. Only 6" monitors will fit flush within the headrest. I posted some questions regarding this a few days ago and someone came back with a way to stick 7" monitors in those headrest. Check out my other thread for more details if interested.
