Well i just bought a 94 vert. Got it all working and decided to take the top down. The top went down and the rear quarter windows rolled down fine with the automatic top down button.Decided to try and put the top up. Top went up fine, tried to use the buttons on the center console to roll up the driver and passenger rear quarter windows and they dont work. Any ideas, please let me know all the ideas you have as the cars not at my house, i'll be trying them all out on thursday. If it came down to it is there anyway to wire it to make it to go for a temp fix?

Bahaha!

If that isn't it, do you hear the motor trying to put them up?

did you notice b4 you put the top down if the windows went down with the buttons? try to isolate the problem....could either be middle console switches, or the drivers door master panel gone bad. quarter window switches are hard to find, but here recently people have been getting them from courtesyparts.com

Yeah, could be the switches themselves, or the wiring going to them (make sure its connected), or a fuse (not sure which one would control those, probably same as other windows though).

i wish i had remembered if i tried them or not. I wasnt to sure what they did at first. I think iwas playing with them and nothing happened so i was wondering what they were for.If the switches are bad is there a way to temp roll them up?Is there a way to test the switches and the drivers door master panel? If the master panel was bad would it also kill the regular side windows?

I didnt realize there was a drivers door master panel. What if iw anted to swap to manual windows. Theres got to be a way to bypass the master panel i'm asuming?

Thanks

well to manually roll them up would be impossible i would think. if you tug on them you are defintely going to break something, and these parts are not made anymore. does anyone know if the coupe/hatch door switches are the same? if so shoudl be easy to find another one and see if thats the problem. if not move onto the quarter window switches....good luck!

add your vert to our registry in the stickies, and please we'd love pics! we are pic whores.

I think you can just hook a 12V battery to the motor and it should go up. I did that for my driver's door window when it was having issues.

thank you ish this worked perfectly. I'm assuming either the switches are bad or the relays are toast.
