2005 SL Murano Rear passenger Windows only go down part way then stop? Is this some safety thing for kids, and if so can it be turned off or something to get the windows to go down all the way? Reset of some kind? Or is it just how it is? THANKS

It's out of necessity, and pretty much the norm on all 4 door vehicles for the past 20 years. If they lengthen the vehicle and move the rear wheels farther back, then there'd be room for the rear doors to be full sized, and you could put the windows all the way down.

Current vehicle size is determined by fuel economy not full functionality.

It's irritating, but that's the price we pay for better fuel economy (allegedly). Surprisingly the rear windows on my 4 door '08 Toyota Yaris went all the way down, so needless to say I was surprised they didn't on my Rogue.
