changing rear bank 2 sensor 2....taking off the actual sensor is easy, but holy moly...the harness on this thing is hard to get out. For those of you who replaced theirs...is there an actual release tab on this thing? the rear one (driver's side) has the red wire cover. It appears the wire harness is attached to a metal holder and I cant feel where the release tab is.....

Yes, there is a release tab. If I recall correctly I used a flathead screwdriver to help release the plug. If that won't help, I'll check the FSM for instructions.

The rear sensor bank 2 sensor 2...the main harness is just beside the intake rubber tube. The one I am having a difficult time removing is the main plug to the sensor (black head). There is another plug in front of it that you press the green tab and it releases it. But the main plug to the sensor remains.
I looked at the bottom of the plug for a release tab and there is none. I wiggled and wiggled and it is not budging so I dont want to break anything so I posted here and see if anyone that replaced theirs can share what they did.
None of those harness listed on that page is used for the harness plug (black solid) on the 02 sensor....The FSM doesn't cover how to pull them properly.
I looked at page EL-7.....this may be the only clue. It list the black color type plug. But still doesn't say how to pull it out properly which is crazy. It looks like it is a "spring loaded' type of plug harness. So makes me think you just simply "squeeze" the plug and pull out? I will give this method a try.
