You can get O2 bungs from just about anywhere. I wouldn't recommend running without it.

The second o2 sensor is for on board diagnostics only, it doesnt run the engine at all, which is verbatim of what the manual says. I had mine zip-tied to the exhaust mount for awhile, no problems, no nothing, not even a check engine light, but when I broke it in half on a bump after it came out, thats where problems started.

Well I have had my rear o2 unplugged for about 3 months and I have had no problems at all. Rob just make sure you have the first o2 in the downpipe. Im using OBD 2.

ANYONE TRIED CONVERTING OBDII TO S13 OBDI. Would all electrics need to be changed, or just ecu. The honda guys(sorry i know) have ecu conversion harnesses to convert obd2 to obd1. Can we do this to?

The 95 240sx CEU will work.

Guys...

The second O2 sensor is for diagnostic purposes only - It checks to see if it reads the same as the Main O2 sensor and if so, it assumes your cat converter is bad. That's it. No big surprise that you've seen no effect on mileage/idle/whatever...it has no effect on tuning or power - Kinda like the intake air temp sensor.

So remove, place it before the main O2, use it as an EGT gauge...it won't matter.

If it throws a code, reset the ECU and drive for another 2000 miles until it comes back. No worries...

Later - Brian
