My 1989 240sx has a little rear camber issue. After I put on my new wheels I noticed my driver side looks correct but the rear passenger side has about 1 or so negative degrees of camber (or so i was told). What are some things to look for to fix. I had someone look at it and they thought I could replace some bushings or is there a way to adjust the rear suspension. The suspension is stock, and yes i realize the tires stick out a little bit haha, thats in the works haha. heres a couple crappy pics to give you an idea of the situation.

Have you actually had it on an alignment rack? If not, thats step one. If they're not able to adjust it back into spec, you'll need some adjustable RUCAs (rear upper control arms).

Camber is not your enemy! Toe in or out is the problem, it will eat your tires alive. I've got -2 in the rear all the time with 160 treadwear tires with hardly any wear because my toe is in spec.

And camber is not something to trust to the naked eye, let the infared beams on a rack do that.

Dude, camber CAN and WILL cause premature tire wear, if its excessive.

A little extra wear? Sure, but not enough for me to worry about. But I also autocross and need the camber, so I'm biased. I dont consider -2 excessive. -3 and above=crazy

Ya thats what my friend was telling me, he does alot of autocrossing. He seemed to think it was camber but it might a toe problem. Either way I want to get it fixed haha. So your best suggestion is to take it somewhere to have it looked at?

There are stock camber bolts on each side. You will see this big round metal attached to the bolt with marks if you look at RUCA(inside). If you turn it, your camber will change. If you drop the car, stock RUCAs and bolts can'y handle, so you have to get aftermarket RUCAs. Yeah, I'd take it to an alignment shop first.

Hey man, maybe a couple degrees of negative wouldn't be so bad, at least when you get suspension. You'll definetly need it to tuck those tires. And maybe a narrower tire.

Camber + Tire Stretch = (use Borat accent) That's a Nice!
