rear mount turbo on 350z

How do you keep from water getting in there with the air filter so low? Also it looks like you have to loose the rear sway bar to instal this kit. Is this true?

Yah it was pretty low on the 350z the Vette is nicely tucked away. I'm wondering if you could install a bypass in a setup like this for the water. Something similar to the bypasses of cold air intakes to avoid hydrolock.
