Has anyone done a rear main engine seal on a 2.4 with a manual transmission? :dblthumb:

guessing you asking for a 2wd 720?

Basically....

Take off the trans, pressure plate, clutch, and flywheel first.

Z24 you should be able to get a pick and start working the old one out and then tapping a new one in.

KA24e there are 6 bolts holding the plate with the rear main in it. Tap old one out and new one in, RTV the plate back and the bolts go back after that.

its just that for 4WD its easier to remove the engine than the trans.
