I'm doing a 5 speed swap and am going to replace my rear main seal while I have the transmission off, but I got this kit http://www.car-stuff.com/cs_au...+Seal from advanced auto, and have no clue what the paper gaskets are for. Don't I pretty much just pry out the metal rubber ring and pop in the new one? I searched how to's and it seemed like thats the only thing to replace, but they had no pics so I might be wrong. Thanks.

Yeah, you can just pull the old oil seal out and replace it. The paper gaskets are for the rear main seal plate that bolts to the rear of the engine. You shouldnt have to remove this, unless its leaking also (more than likely NOT, the rear main seal is notorious for leaks). FYI, in that pics, the correct plate gasket should be the middle one (iirc).

Small tip: put a little gasket maker (Ultra Gray silicone gasket maker) around the outside of the seal and a dab of oil on the inner diameter of the seal. The gasket maker will help seal the outside, and the oil will help lubricate the installation of it.
