Hey guys,

Ive had a small leak for the past year that im finally getting around to fixing. The drips seem to be coming from the bottom 2 bolts that attach the bell housing to the back of the engine. Its not coming from that tiny hole at the very bottom. One of my half moons was leaking as well, fixed that up tho. Could the drips seeping from the bolts be excess oil that have come from the half moon? What other possibilities could it be?

There is about 1cm of space and its all dry. There are TINY amounts seeping out around a few bolts. Not enough to make the 2 inch puddle. One is an oil pan bolt, the other is a bolt at the very back on the hot side. On that "ear".

At cold idle I have 88 PSI (N1 Pump)
Warm idle I have 44 PSI

Is my oil pressure too high and it is blowing out my seals around the engine?

How is your PCV system set up? Unless you have vacuum applied to it from either your intake pipe ahead of the turbo or have it connected to the exhaust, you might get some seepage through the main seals.

I have the stock PCV location blocked off with a plug. Both vavle cover vents connected to a catch can vented to atmosphere

I have mine set up the same way and I get some leaking from my front and rear mains. I attribute it to the crank case not being under vacuum like it normally would be and would, therefore, keep the oil inside the block. I bet if you connect a hose from the catch can to the intake, the main seal leaking will drop dramatically.

I will give that a try. Thanks Darius.
