Rear main seal and oil pickup tube help

Need advice on of this is a bad oil pick up tube or not. The oil pan was dented slightly so I am changing it.

I am also doin the rear main but when it came out it was flush on both sides with the new oem rms the back is flush but the front goes in more and is recessed a bit. Is that normal or did I do something wrong. Thanks

Looking at the vids, the pickup is shot and needs replaced but I haven't personally done a rear seal and can't comment on that.
I will say that if you are dealing with a JDM import with the always-present bent pan and pickup due to shipping, replace both for best results as you can and probably will starve the engine for oil and ruin it if you don't do both. The clearance in the pan requires both to be perfect so don't mess around here, you don't want to ruin your effort for something like this to happen.
