Today I put the 240sx s13 coilovers on my J. There was only one issue with the install which was luckily easy to overcome. The bolts on the top hat for the s13 are narrower than the one on the J30. To overcome this I took the top hats off of the stock struts and put them onto the coilovers. I included some pics of what I did with the top hats and some pictures of it installed on the car. I will put some more pics soone on how it sits.

As for the TT sway bar. It was a little tricky to install because I thought at first I would have to remove the back half of the exhaust, but I was able to work it onto the car with only disconnecting the exhaust hangers. I can notice a big difference in handling. So far I have custom made solid tension rod bushings, 300lb/in lowering springs in the front, 240sx s13 coilovers and TT sway bar. There is pretty much no body roll at all.

How have these mods affected the ride on rough surfaces, and noise transmitted to the cabin? I like the idea of more stable cornering, but we have some rough roads around us.

With the front and rear done, the suspension is much stiffer. Over most just general bumps or transitions across bridges it can be smooth. Though if there is a decent hop or transition, the J will pop up some pretty quick and then settle right away.

When I had the front only lowered I had to watch where I drove very carefully watching the road cause the front end would bounce like crazy. Now that it is all leveled out the ride has been much better. There are just some areas on highways or roads I know well enough to go slower or try to avoid by getting in another lane.

where do you have the perches set at on your coilovers? the car sits real low but in the pictures where the tire is off, it looks like you have them set all the way up? thanks

I had them set most of the way up for the initial drop to see how it sat. I then raised the car again and turned the coilovers down about 15 full turns and it was perfect.

it sat aroudn the stock height id say. it took me a little bit to figure out how to maneuver the sway bar back in. had to undo all the exhaust supports and wedge it in.

Do you still have your stock Infiniti J30 rear sway bar? If you do, I would like to buy it if your willing to sell it.
