I was scooping around in nico but i could not find any info on my question about the rear lower strut bar.

I did notice that on the upper struts it was between 29-40 lbs. and i already have the front upper and read upper strut bars installed and the only one im missing which im doin right now is the Rear lower strut...but dont know what specs to torque it to.

Does anyone have an idea of how much appoximately to torque it to..is it the same as the other ones?

yes...I might not have the specific name for it but im sure u heard about a a 3 piece strut tower bar set...well there is one in the upper front inside ur engine bay that holds the chassis in place by the wheel...then there another one in the back (in my case in the trunk) that holds the chassis in place . and last but not least there is another that is underneath the car right behind ur differential that holds the chassis in place there.

if u need pix of it ill take one so u can see.

i'm guessing he meant something like a lower "tie bar"

or something like what spl sells:

http://www.splparts.com/Parts/...t.asp

just d/l the appropriate FSM & see what bolts are going to be removed/replaced

are you doing this bar because yours didn't come w/ an anti-sway bar???

I only have the bar ur pic shows on the top of the pic...the tinier one i dont have. and that was not why i did it...i did it because it was came as a set so i figured hey..why not.

as u can see there is not much reinforcement on the bottom of a 93 240sx coupe to hold much of anything in place much less the chassis itself.

I'd torque it back down to factory spec.

some of those later model 240sx's didn't came w/ a rear anti-sway bar... just learned that recently w/ the s14 crowd...

but, yeap those torque specs for the subframe bolts should be in the FSM... i gotz 3 links for ya do d/l...

winzip/winrar required... oh and adobe acrobat 7 is the latest one to read those pdf files...
