rear inch hitch... - rogue vs. qashqai..

I own a 2010 Nissan Qashqai which is the European Equivalent of the Rogue…
But the dimension are not exactly the same.
My question is
If I want to get a 2 inch rear hitch (and a hitch mounted bike rack)
Can I use the hitch sold for the Rogue (as both Yakima and Thule in their web site will not mention the Qashqai…) ?

Thule and Yakima do not sell trailer hitches. This is why you cannot find them.

Honestly, this is a hard question I cannot answer:

1) None of the trailer hitch mfg's make hitches for both the Rogue and Qashqai... they only focus on the North American market.... the Rogue. There is no way to compare them to see if the same hitch will fit.

2) We do not know if the Rogue and Qashqai share the same trailer hitch mount. Nissan made many changes to the Qashqai when bringing it to the USA as the Rogue.

3) The Qashqai uses a different rear bumper and exhaust system... even if the Rogue trailer hitch fits the mounting holes, it may not fit behind the bumper and around the exhaust system.

Honestly, I think you should look at getting a trailer hitch from Europe. Look at Oris or Westfalia. Nissan also sells a trailer hitch for the Qashqai as an accessory.

I'd try asking curt manufacturing... They might have the answer for you... They usually have pretty good support.
