Rear humps on the vert.

I am wondering if anyone has figured out what to do to the rear humps on a vert to remove them and still make the interior look stock.

I was thinking on trying to get new rear panels made without the hump....

Or would it be posssible to remove the humps and slowly heat up and bend the hump out of the panel and trim off the excess.

I hate those rear humps.

I don't know. They stick out just a little bit. You will have more chance ruin the interior by trying to fabricate. I'd say leave them alone.

What hump are you refering to???? Some pics would help. If you're talking about the slight hump on the rear panels, its just part of the design, and looks fine in my opinion, I would leave it alone. If you are trying to come up with a new custom idea, some stainless steel panels would look sweet. I thought about doing that to the door panels, it just takes alot of fabricating. If I had more time I would definately try it.

I am almost certain he is talking about the small hump that's left just behind the door once you have done the door pillar removal or coupe door swap. This hump:



I think some of the guys have fabbed up a cap to cover the hole...which is what I'm going to do sooner or later. As for the hump...it's perfect for the seat belt relocation.
