Hi, searched but found nothing so I'm posting this..
I have a 2006 nissan base quest with 71k and the left rear hub was making a bad vibration sound. At the time I didnt know which side it was so I replaced both right and left rear hub (purchased from ebay manufacture Parts Master). Seemed really easy and straight fwd. removed wheel, calipers, disk, then removed hubs..reverse step during install. When I put everything back together and test drove I heard a small clicking sound and high pitched hum coming from the interior maybe driver side area..but when applying the brakes it starts pulsate (springing action) as the abs going off real loud..almost feels unsafe. Does anyone know what this is or has anyone had problem similar to this after the rear hub replacement??? maybe I missed a step??? Do I need to reset something like bleed the brakes??? Any help would greatly be appreciated so I can get back onroad...I'm actually thinking of putting back the old broken hubs to see if that would fix it back but wanted to see any replies here before doing it. THANK YOU!!!
p.s. I was real careful not to hit the ABS sensor on both rear sides as it is right in the center below the hub so I'm pretty confident the sensors were fine. Was I suppose remove them during the hub install?
