Rear Hatch Rattle

Hey guys, I know a few of you have noticed a bit of a rattle coming from the back hatch when hitting bumps, and Philipa I think you mentioned that you had a fix for this but I can't find the post. It seems that lately the bumps are more noticable and noisy in the rear end, and if it is the hatch I'd be interested in any method of reducing the noise. Thanks.

Could it possibly be the license plate or license plate frame if you have one?

No, the fix I posted was for the squeak from the shifter. I have never heard any rattles from the rear hatch. I would check the spare tire, jack, and tools under the cargo floor as well as the tow hook in the LH storage bin to make sure there is nothing loose. After that, I would take it to the dealer. Adjustments are covered under warranty for one year.
