Rear hatch and window

I know I saw one about the rear hatch but I have a 2003 QX4 and not only does the back hatch not lock regardless of using the remote or manual locks but my rear window keeps releasing when you unlock the doors both with remote and manaully. How do I fix this?

I would take off the rear plastic panel on the hatch and see what's going on.

Whaen you say it won't lock manually, do you mean you are pressing the lock button on your drivers door, or does that mean it won't lock using the key in the tailgate?
