rear fender, help please

i just bought a 93 s13 and its all set for paint except for the giant dents and rust holes i have the money to order new rear fenders however it seems impossibe to remove the factory rear fenders because it runs all the way through the skirt, any suggestions on what i should do

and you can get a new one but you have to cut it off and weld a new one on. unibody cars are just awsome...

why dont you just fix the one you have?fiberglass,glazing putty, bondo, and a welder are gona be your best friends soon.

what? body work?literally just sand/grind out all the rust. weld in new sheetmetal over giant holesuse bondo/fiberglass to smooth it out/fill in smaller holes and dents.glazing putty over everything so you cant tell it ever happened.if youve never done it before its probably gona take you a few trys to get it decent. practice makes perfect...

If you post pictures of what you are attempting to fix, some one could give you better more specific to your cause advice.

If it has mean dents, try inflating different size basketballs and football inside the car to push it out. Some one on here did it with a car jack and it worked okay.

Rust is one of those get rid of it things. POR15 might be in your future. Wire wheel to get off the surface rust. You may need to cut some sheetmetal out and replace it, depending on the severity.
