Hello all,

This is my first post and I've tried searching the forums a for a few days now and have not been able to find any info on replacement remotes for Factory Rear Entertainment system on an 06 M45.

I just purchased the M yesterday and am loving it. I have already ordered replacement floormats for it, another Intellikey and am looking for the remote that was missing for my rear flip down dvd.

I called several dealers and they all quoted me a minimum of $280 for the remote by itself, which I though was really high. Is there a generic one that I can buy and program?

What is the brand of our Stock Rear and Front DVD units? Please help.

Thanks,Man

Call http://www.everythinginfiniti.com (number is at their web site) and ask for Joe Tsensky. He will be able to get you the best possible price. You could probably make some generic unit work, but nothing like the real thing!

No idea about the brand names - sorry! Please look in the M Service Manual (link is in my sig) and see if it lists the specific models.

Thank you. I finally got a parts manager to give me the part number to the remote and found it for $170 vs. the $300+ that dealers were trying to charge. I also ordered my floor mats while I was at it. Now my car is complete. I ordered a second intellikey and was wondering what the best place to get it programmed would be. I know the dealership wants to charge 1 hour of labor at $110 to program which is a rip off.

You can try to do it yourself here:http://www.infinitihelp.com/di...b.htm

I couldn't get it to work but I didn't try more than once.
