My 240 seems to sway side to side under acceleration but after I speed up a little bit, it'll stop. It seems to only sway from under acceleration and nothing else. Anyone have an idea of what's wrong here?

Only thing I can think of is that your suspension shocks are blown. May be time for coil overs :chuckle:

I would suggest not asking us, and getting the car in the air to look for problems. ie ball joints, shocks, bushings, end links, tire wear.

Alright. If you say so. I'll try to check them out as soon as I can.

I think found out what was causing my sway.

I replaced it, drove it around, no sway so far. But I will check the other suspension parts just to make sure.

You guys are incredible. I would never let my brakes get to such amazingly horrible condition like that.

This was on the 240 I bought last Saturday. The previous owner did not care for the car one bit. PS leaks, back window is torn and rain is getting inside(vert btw), rust on the back seat rails where it was rained on, back seats being stained from being rained on, tires low on tread, oil leak(found out it was the valve cover gasket today), and most likely some other stuff when I will start to clean the carpets and such. He left me a nice present though, some dirty dishes and silverware with food still on it and maybe a hint of mold! YUM!! But yea, I would never let that happen to my car. Not complaining or anything, I really wanted this car and I got for $980. I know what I was getting into and it runs!
