You need to describe when this rear end shake happens.

Are you sure your tires are balanced? Have you tried rotating tires and see if anything changes?

Are you sure your alignment specs are correct?

When does this rear end shake happen??? Hard cornering, coming from a stop, highway speeds, all the time?

its more like a rear vibration, it gets worse as the speed increases, and hard cornering

I had something like this... it was because the tires were off balance and sams club kept putting normal weights on my wheels.. I went back for a FOURTH TIME and talked to the manager who made them use sticky weights... problem solved

well I could be that your bushings are shot be they would'nt really notice them while they are under load (cornering, accelerating etc...) but you would once you lifted

But still I say check that all the bushings are ok and that your rear tires are balanced

If you really want to save some money, try rotating your tires and see if it makes any difference at all.

Obviously, if you felt the rear shaking... once you rotate to the front, the steering wheel should theoretically shake if the tires are not balanced. And your rear "should" feel more stable if your front ones were more balanced, per say.

Good idea.
