What's the deal with the rear end sagging with passengers in the backseat? I ran a search and did not find any old threads. I have an 07 Altima 3.5se.

yea i dont know but the drop is a disadvantage when it comes to passengers... i scrape speed bumps doin like -2 mph... are there any types of metal shielding that people install under their cars to prevent underbody damage? ive seen aerodynamic plates but not scrape plates

I took the car in to have the transmission looked at (which the dealership replaced) and mentioned the sagging rear end. They pulled the rear springs and found they were 1.5" shorter than then replacement springs. Based on that, they replaced under warranty.
