My 01 pathfinder seems especially jarring over speed humps/speed bumps. It is almost like the back end bottoms out or something, but taking a speed hump at 15mph will leave you feeling very uncomfortable once the back end hits it.

I'm thinking of replacing the shocks to see if that helps, does anyone else have any ideas? I can't imagine thats just how these things are...but I guess with the solid axle rear it's possible? Would it help to put some rubber spring spacers in?

Please Help!

the rear springs get saggy over the years.. shocks will help, you can put in some airlift rear air bags that go inside the springs (coils), or just replace the worn out springs.

my QX bottoms out going over speedbumps when it is loaded up.. I will be replacing the shocks and throwing in the airlift air bags.

I have kyb gas a just shocks in mine. They are a little firmer than the stock replacememt. Also, replaced my springs with some cheap moog replacements. Rear suspension is great now. Firm but not jarring. No bottom out.
