Rear End and Transmission

Okay so I just got a next to stock 300zx. Im just curious of how much power and beating on the transmission and rear differential can take.I know with my stang the transmission doesnt like much more than stock hp. And how well can the diff. take on perhaps, drag radials? Thanks

The transmission and rear end on a Z are very strong. Most people don't even bother with building them stronger as they can handle very high horsepower.

They are good to over 650. The TT Diff (r230) is stronger than a ford 9". Very well built drivetrains.

nothing exciting....i was just wondering because i wanna get drag radials.. Im guess im just used to my mustang because the transmission and rear end are just strong enough to hold up to stock hp

I'm still running a stock trans and rear end. They take a hell of a beating and function just fine. No need to upgrade either.
