Basically I got on superbrightleds.com and ordered 4 of the smallest single red light LEDs that they sell. Part # LD-1x. In red. I took the rear emblem off, wired them to the brake lights, and viola! Light up rear infiniti emblem. Thats the short and sweet version. Here's what it looks like:

OK, now a more detailed breakdown for all of you that would like to do this yourself...
Step 1: Remove the rear Emblem. I used fishing line and a little goo gone. Took a while to get all the 3m adhesive off the body of the car. Be careful as the emblem has 2 nipples that actually stick into the sheet metal of the trunk. Once you are all done it will look like this:

Step 2: Prep the emblem. It has several grooves on the back side that you will need to sand down in order to fit the led lights inside of it... I used a dremel with a small sanding bit.
Step 3: Remove the trunk liner and trunk lid liner. You'll need to remove the tail light assembly from the passenger side and attach wires for the led's... I used a total of 4 red LEDs... 2 attached to the tail light itself, and 2 attatched to the brake light. There are 2 green wires that come out of the bulb assembly. One has a yellow stripe. That one is the brake light, the plain one is the tail light... Its all actually the same bulbs, but they get brighter as you depresss the brake pedal. By using both positives, you can make your emblem do the same. Pics below:

I got some extra wire at radio shack and ran it for attaching the LED bulbs later.
Step 4: Run your LEDs through the trunk lid. If you look in the picture above, you'll notice one of the holes for the emblem is larger than the other. Run all your LED wires through this hole, and leave enough slack so you cn manipulate them and attach them to your emblem. I used a little hot glue and attached them spaced evenly under the emblem.
Step 5: Re-attach the emblem. I bought some 3m tape and cut it into small squares to re-attach the emblem... This step is important because you want to leave gaps for the red light to flow out from behind the emblem. Firmly press it on to the trunk lid. I used a little silicone on the inside to weather proof the holes and help hold the "nipples" on the emblem in place. Worked out beautifully.
Step 6: Wire up your LEDs to the wires you attached to the brake lights. Simple. Put everything back together and clean it up!
Here is a short(and crappy) video. You cant really tell how good it looks, but trust me... Its fantastic.
