Hello everybody. I am in the market for a Nissan Murano (narrowed it down to the Ford Edge or Murano) as my wife's first pick is the Murano. We have had nissans and an Infiniti before and prefer it but I'm running into one problem. We really want rear dvd in the Murano. I can get the Edge with rear dvd minus the panoramic roof or I can install head rest dvd players in the Edge utilizing its USB/aux jack but my question is can I do this in the Murano? The only thing I found here was the way to install a DVD system and override for the front screen to play a movie but my kids in the rear seat can't really see that and I don't need to watch sesame street or Dora up front. I need a rear DVD system like a head rest system that can be controlled from up front as my 2 yr old can't and shouldn't unbuckle himself from the rear car seat and handle putting in a dvd himself. I will need to do that from the front screen. I also don't want the cheepo head rest dvd system that plays the audio from the unit itself as i'm told all you can hear in the driver's seat is loud movie music being that it's coming from the head rest you put your head on. Is it possible and/or easy to add a dvd system of some sort to a 2009 Murano LE (Navigation unit/screen) allowing the sound to project from the speakers and control/insert dvds from the front cd input? Any info will help me wrap this exhausting search for a practical suv up!!!

I'm guessing it may not be possible or practical given the lack of response. I figured the aux inputs in the back would only feed the signal into the front screen but won't work both ways to allow me to put a dvd in the front and play it on a back screen.
