i want to start by introducing myself my name is bazil i currently own a srt-4 but im saving up to get a 93-96 nissan hardbody. i am looking to use it for drifting, i have pretty much figured out the motor situation. i am currently stuck on the suspension, i have seen a lot of people do rear 4 link suspension for air bag setups but im looking for a suspension setup for coilovers I've seen pictures of people using what i believe is the 3 link and i kind of understand how it works and the parts i would need. im wondering if there is a how to that someone has made that i havent seen yet, if someone could point me in the right direction that would be great. i just want to figure most of this out so i can plan ahead and decide what i want to do first and that would be most convenient to do because i can tell that i will need to do some welding. also trying to see what people have done for front coilovers because i have seen different setups.

Welcome to NICO. I have yet to see a how-to since each truck build I have seen is unique. I have not seen a standard way to build a drift truck yet. I do know that most trucks that have been built involved hours of welding and lots of metal stock. Some are CAD design while others are built by seat of the pants engineering. Getting a D21 to drift is pretty easy though, just weld the spider gears and you won't be able to keep it from wanting to drift. Triangulate the rear for consistent performance. The rest you will have to ask some of the pro drifters, they can let you in on the secrets.

yea i continued to search and still didnt really find much but i did find some pictures of peoples setups and will go off those. i think i will have to make it custom saw some people use s14/13 irs and will do something like that and make a custom top mount for the coilovers in rear. but yea i agree a lot of welding and fabrication
