Balancing a 2 piece shaft is more difficult because the shop has to rig a support in the center of the test lathe and do all sorts of time consumming tricks to decide how to deal with split phase oscillations.

Takes and expert and an engineer to do it perfectly..............most laugh and tell you it cannot be done...............also the Infiniti has foam inside to dampen noise and vibration.

Offering enough money can usually persuade.

The problem is the drive shaft can turn 6500+ rpm ~~ 140 mph [3rd gear].

so unless i feel it vibrating it shouldent be an issue?

or if it is then a replacement would probably be a better option then finding the right mech at the right price? no?

thank for the response .

still looking for some input on the hose coming off the rear differential carrier
