Rear differential removal

Hi everybody, any ideas how to get the 3rd member out after I have removed he axles?

I can't get the bloody thing out...

Manual says squat!

All help is appreciated

Welcome to NICO.

You unbolted the driveshaft, the rear brake lines from the wheel cylinders, parking brake cable (I think you'll need to at least), the axle shafts, and the bolts holding the third member in? I think after that you can pull on the drums to pull the axle shafts out enough to disengage the third member (a helper might be easier and safer here) and then it can be removed.

Yes in theory, but the 3rd member won't budge and I have been Very persuasive
