Changed my rear diff fluid today. The factory service manual says that it take 1.5 liters of fluid. On the refill i was only able to get about 1.1-1.2 liters in before it started to drain out the filler plug. Am i doing something wrong or do they take less on a drain/refill.
I also changed out with Lucas 80W-90 gear fluid. I had Mobil 1 in prior to that with no issues, but the Lucas was on sale. Anyone tried the Lucas gear oil before? How is it? Says you don't need any limited slip additive, so that was a bonus
Sorry for the rush, but have to drive the car 7 hours north tomorrow for the 4th and don't want to burn out the rear end.
