I need help. I'm not an auto wizard I'm a novice. I was putting speakers in and them later noticed my defroster wasn't working in the rear window of my 13 nissan sentra. I pulled off the panel and saw that my over zealous pounding of the panel to get it in place knocked the tab on the drivers side off. I went to a local parts place and bought the expensive pack of tiny glue and did it like the package said. We had a few days of frost and it worked great. Now it has stopped again. The tab is still glued on really well and I put a voltage meter to it and got a reading. However I couldn't get readings from the other tabs. On the passengers side there are two tabs on the window and neither had a reading. I don't know anything about this stuff so I'm at the mercy of the dealer if I go there however if I can fiND the problem I am sure I can fix it with a little help. Any ideas?

Use a multi-meter and see of you have continuity between the tab itself and the strips in the glass. I'd check every tab to be sure. Other than that, I would suspect a new rear glass might be in your future. I am no defrost electrical expert though, hopefully someone else can chime in that is more knowledgeable. Welcome to NICO btw!
