I'm having problems with my rear defroster. Every time i press the rear defrost button the radio goes static. As soon as I press it again (to turn it off) the signal comes back and radio is clear. Any one know what the problem/fix for this is???

Sounds like an electrical problem, specifically wiring. Aftermarket stereo?

If its under warranty, just bring it to the dealer.

Thats really odd. See what the stealership says. I'd be surprised if they blamed it on the tint.

I had this problem with my old car and didnt have window tint. I would say its a electrical problem as well.

I had this radio static happen to me with the rear defrost on. I also have my rear window tinted. When my rear window was fogged up and I put the defrost on one of the grids wasn't working, so I got a flashlight and looked at that one grid, I found a cut the size of a c*nt hair. I went to autozone bought a defrost repair kit (about $15). I had to cut a slither of the tint from the broken grid and I painted it with the repair kit. Now everything works and no more static! The hardest part was cutting the tint but with a steady hand and a new blade its no problem, and its such a small piece your cutting you won't even notice it.
