2006 Nissan Quest. Rear defrost has stopped. Whenever I turn it on and off can hear a click which sounds like a relay. Clicking sound isn't in driver side fuse box but seems to be in location where hood release is. Checked all fuses and everything else is good. Anyone had to fix this or know if there is a relay back in there before I start taking panels off? Thanks.

Welcome to NICO! Sorry to hear that your car is having trouble. I'm not all too well versed in your vehicle, but can offer an option for you.

Here at NICO, we have Factory Service Manuals available free to members. Take a look at the link in my signature and find the FSM for your car and you'll have all the info you'll ever need to make the repair and try to diagnose it for yourself while help is on the way.

To add, wife informed me the air and heat both work fine in the front. But in the back, when the heat is on, the air also blows full blast. I was told that the heat vents are near the floor and the air vents are above. But they blow at the same time, instead of the cold air turning off when the heat is on. A couple of times, I would go to turn the air/heat off in the front and it would continue to blow full blast. Van would have to be turned off foe it to go back to normal. Not sure if this problem and the problem above are linked.

Have been looking through ATC section of that manual. My altima is less complicated, lol
