I have a 1995 Q45 and the rear deck glove/storage box no longer opens when I push the button. I can gently pull the lid open, but it does not spring open automatically, the way it used to. Does anyone have a fix for this?

just go to Home Depot, buy and attach an ornate kitchen cabinet door knob ,preferably made of porcelin with obscure graphics painted on it and call it JDM or VIP and be done with it!

Or view the recent post (by 3QJay ?) in IOM.

Wouldn't it need a tassel also to be VIP? With a 30 lb. brass ornament at the end? That would seal the deal!

Yeah, buy a new car, just tie a big rope to it, hire a butler to sit in the back seat... Does anyone besides Jethro Bodine have an answer to my question?

do you really even ever open it? I think I have opened mine less than 5 times in the cars lifetime{I store a emergency strobe lamp in it}

Might get one out of the boneyard if it bothers you enough to seek one out

Sometimes you have to read between the humor. Sometimes all we can do is laugh at less valid questions than yours.

I would trade my car if my rear deck storage lid broke or my power headrests failed!

What a pathetic attempt insulting vip style... you guys really need to stop harassing people and be nice for a change.

It's been funny at some times but now I'm starting to realize you guys have a chip on your shoulder and you feel you have to be an ******* to everyone who posts on these forums.

Please just act like adults and provide constructive comments and stop all the warmongering and belittling for Christ's sake!
