I was bored, and craving something to do to my car, so I came up with this. I fabricated some rear cupholders out of wood, and used some leftover chrome trim from my grill, and wrapped it around the taillights. It looks 100% OEM.

Yeah, the last one. It looks like it might be a little shoddy, but I actually don't mind it in the other ones.

I still have to fix the part where they meet, il do that today. Trust me, it looks VERY VERY good. Like it was supposed to be there. I got the idea from looking at the taillights from the Nissan President (Infiniti Q45)

The chrome in the back doesn't look bad.

What did you use to stick the chrome on the taillights? You should create a writeup with instructions on how to do this mod, with pictures of course.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again...

If it sticks onto your car with double-sided tape, you should probably just forget about it.

However, if the seam where the top and bottom pieces of chrome trim meet on the corners is like, perfect, and not just randomly hanging there the way it looks like it is, I'll let it slide. Otherwise, buy yourself some NOS seatbelt pads and call yourself a ricer.

Can the stuff be cut easily? If so, just cut it at the right angle where the pieces meet so it looks like they connect. Right now (and it's hard to tell from the picture), it looks like the bottom piece is too long or the top piece is too short.

Ya, il use an exacto knife when i get home (im at school). When its non-sticky (when the paper is on the back of the sticky side) you measure it out, mark it with a pen, and then use prunning shears.

All I see is a picture of a messed up door panel and three other blurry pictures that you can't see anything in.

How flexible is that stuff? Try to make it go all the way into the corner if you can. Here, this is how you should try to cut that top piece to match up flush with the bottom. I actually think this could alright if done well, so I'm trying to help you out here.

You can't cut it at a right angle, it has to be a good deal...leghthwise, kinda. It might take a couple tries to get it just right, but it would be worth it.
