rear crossmember question

I had the rear crossmember replaced on my '96 Q about a year ago.The rear end of the car sat noticably higher that even when new.Qtech said it would eventually lower and look more normal.It still looks like 'she' is 'presenting' herself.Has anyone had the cross member replaced noticing the wheel well looks wide open? And the rear end jacked up?

i had to replace mine a couple years back and it never sat higher, check to make sure that the springs are in there positions on the strut in the right oreintation
