rear click

i have a 90 s13 hatch and i have a clicking noise only when i back up but it only happens sometimes. im thinking either rear end oil is way over due and is worn out or i have an axle issue. the car did have lowering springs when i bought it and the camber was way off. so im thinking that the previous owner had them in too long and hurt the axles. is there an easy way to check them with out removal?

I had the same issue. Check the sub frame bushings
