Hey guys,

I just installed D2 coilovers on my s13 and I was wondering what my options are for adjusting rear camber. I know adjustable rear upper arms would do the trick, but I really don't have 300-400 dollars to spend on it. I've been reading some posts on camber correcting bushings, but really don't know anything about them. Can anyone tell me how those work? Also, are there any other options for adjusting the rear camber? Thanks!

How much did you lower your car? You can correct the camber slightly with the eccentric bolt. But if you slam it like I did, then yeah, you will need some sort of advanced camber correction, like RUCA's.

Don't spend 400 on RUCA's, just get some 200 dollar Battle Version or something. I got Cusco RUCA's for $200 from Autoconxion and I know they had some NAMS RUCA's for $240.

yes... ebay.

because the rear upper arm isn't really all that important and if it breaks due to lack of build quality, nothing bad will happen.

this is a REAR UPPER CONTROL ARM. Not a damn strut bar. Some things you need to buy a quality part for. And I would never use one of those half sided RUCA's. Stock is two sided... they probably work fine, but I'd always be leery.

Go read up on zilvia. S14/S13 is almost the exact same, I thought I read that you just need to grind something a little bit.

The ebay peices look fine...sronger than stock that's for sure. Stock peices bend very easily.

bending isn't the same as breaking. As in shearing off at the welds or something.

Lol, I wouldn't worry too much about welds ripping apart. They look just fine and should be the strongest part of the arm.

battle version is a quality part, i never said it wasn't. i said that i wouldn't trust a noname ebay ruca. all metals and all welds are not created equal.

mine look exactly like those battle versions. EXACTLY. structure, go with the ebay ones, theyre like $140 buy it now. i know what a good strong weld looks like, and if i didnt think these would hold up on my car over a long period of time i wouldnt even bother putting them on it. theres not one thing wrong with the no name ebay ones. when you pay alot of money, youre mostly paying for the name anyways.

Well, here's the before and after pics... (hopefully you'll know which is which... :D)

I'd say its dropped a good 3"-3.5" from the front and about 2.5" from the rear.

Thanks for all the good links and info. I think I'm either gonna go with the SPL or Battle Version RUCAs.:
