So im pulling into the local Taco Bell to get some...well tacos, and my handbrake becomes a monster to pull up, i dont think much about it until i get out of the car and smoke is pouring from the rear tire like im dousing a bonfire.

so i assume this is a bad thing and i take it to where i got my rear brakes and rotors replaced not even two months before; "i dont see any problems in your brakes, pads still look good and everything" says the trusty employee; "you know ive heard of rocks getting stuck in there and causing them to seize, maybe thats the problem"

anyone have any brake problems like this before?

common problem- you can take it off and try to work it loose- more than likely it is caliper replacement time- save money and go to the junkyard.

It can be either- depends. Alotof times it is the ebrake portion sticking.
