Rear brakes?!? Help!!

Ok, so i just replaced the rear brake pads and rotors on my 92 se hatch and i'm having a very frustrating problem, when i put everything back together the rear brakes become locked up, i drove it up and down my road really quick to check them out and they nearly set on fire. i know, i know, stupid.

*update* after actually taking some time to look at the situation, i am pretty sure that the problem is that my caliper brackets mounting pins are not sliding in and out like they should. has anybody else ever heard/experienced this problem?
