Rear brakes discs or drums in the ABS models?

It says on the Nissan web page that the Versa has a 4 wheel antilock brake system. I always thought that ABS required disc brakes? Would that mean that the ABS equipped Versas have discs on the back instead of drums? Or am I mistaken and they work on drums as well?

i believe they are drum

It's not uncommon to have rear drums on the ABS system of a less expnsive vehicle. The V w/ABS has rear drums.
