Rear brake rotors after 25,000 miles?

I've had my Rogue since November 2008 and need to have rear brake rotors cut and rear pads replaced. Car has been shaking at 60 mph and pulsating/shaking when brakes applied. I had front end aligned and replaced tires. Still shakes and pulsates so now need brakes/rotors.

Anyone else experiencing this?

I just replaced my front and rear brakes and turned the rotors at 50,000 miles and have had no problems. The pads still had some meat on them even at 50,000.

What's the norm for brake maintenance?

I've had my Rogue since March 2009...I have about 8000km

I do a crazy amount of city driving, alot of stop and go, I can venture a guess that about 80% of my driving is city driving.

I'm due for an oil chance maybe beginning of december.

Should I throw in there a brake service too ??

If so what do they do....clean & lube ??
