well a search would have brought up atleast 4 answers to this question. You have to turn them to get them to go back in. Sometimes you have to press and turn.

You can use needle nose pliers, or buy a pistion return tool or whatever. :yesnod

I just use needle nose pliers, but you can go to napa and buy one. It's called a disc brake piston tool I believe. Made by evercraft. I don't know on the price, 10 dollars at most

Just dont press them in with a C-clamp. I broke one of my calipers on my first brake job doing that. I didnt know any better...=\

Both tool trucks that come by every week (Snap on, & Mac ) have tools for retracting the caliper piston. Snap on wants $150, Mac sold me the set for 95. comes with plates for 1.5" pistons up to 2.5" inches in diameter, also works both for rotation style (nissan) and narrow pin return (some hondas) and GM, and many others too. Kinda expensive but works very well, and no damage to the pistons.

AutoZone will let you rent the tool for free.... all you need is a 35 dollar deposit. Pretty nifty tool.
