rear brake overheat

I replaced rear pads for 92 240 coupe one week ago. Started hearing grinding 2 days ago on driver side. Pulled wheels today, replaced driver side pads. ( worn to a nub) Pass side ok. Drove 30 miles. No noise but wheel very very hot. I used needle nose to twist piston with no problem. what could this be? emergency brake perhaps. no light on dash.

Yeah, the caliper could have gotten stuck from the ebrake. It's happened to me before... And on the driver's side, haha.

it happend to me two summers ago. replaced the brakes and drove around: there were wisps of smoke coming off the rear rotors.

New calipers; well thats how I fixed mine.

new pads and maybe rotors now too

possible warping of the rotors from excess heat. so just get them anyway. outtowin is correct ^^^

2007 M35 X with 83,000 miles.
Complete 4 wheel brake job with Premium Ceramic Pads
18,000 later right rear rotor over heats
Sears installs new pads rotors calipers and two flex hose lines
lasts about 5 miles and rr starts to lock up.
its as if the ebrake starts to engage.
severe vibration starts and by tapping ebrake the problem goes away.
with 5 miles on new rotor become blue.
